can anyone remember who hosted the breakfast slot on radio one before Simon Mayo in the early 90s ?

Mike Read? Or was he earlier? I think DLT and Noel Edmonds were earlier too.

thanks for that qm - out of the 3 mike read seems to fit the bill, dlt and noel were definately earlier

I think Mike Smith hosted the Breakfast Show on Radio 1 before Simon Mayo...

I think I even remember when Mike Smith announced that Simon Mayo was going to be taking over. Deffo Mike Smith, anyway.
