So publication of the Chilcot Report is being delayed until next Summer. Start of the big coverup or what?

On the contrary, the delay is because Chilcot and his partners are trying to get currently classified documents UNclassified and included in their report. The exact opposite of a cover-up, surely.

Just because they are classified doesnt mean that they will be of any real consequence, they may be docs that contain names of people that are still active in intelligence abroad for instance.

So, if the documents are of "no real consequence", in what way would waiting for their declassification be a cover-up?

I'm referring to the inquiry as a whole, not to specific docs when i say cover up..

Its pretty obvious that not every single document is a cover up, but in general the "inquiry" will be expected to produce the required results by those that commissioned it with some token wrist slapping for effect.

It seems to me that minds are already made up that it WILL be a cover-up. Quite how that works, given that all witnesses were questioned in public defeats me.
When Lord Hutton was appointed to carry out the first enquiry, everyone said, "At last! A man of undisputed integrity and honour is to look into things. He's in nobody's pocket and the truth will out." When he did not come up with the verdict they "demanded", he instantly became a toady and bootlicker.
Looks like several here are already gearing up for the same conspiracy/whitewash nonsense.

I don't see how delaying the report is a sign of a cover-up.
Not publishing it, or condealing parts of it might be a cover-up.
On the scale of great cover-ups I don't think this registers on the Richter scale.
Some wars are fought by some countries with no enquiries at all, never mind anything else.

I inferred that there has been a cover up into the reasons for "going to war"o since day 1

If it's me you are referring to then I was in turn referring to the question, not your answer.

What have you inferred that from, as a matter of interest? You may be right. I opposed the Iraq war, but I try to keep an open mind as to the reasons etc. as otherwise all the inquiries in the world, all discussion about it, will be pointless. It seems to me self-evident that postponing the inquiry per se does not point to a cover-up, rather as Quizmonster suggests, the opposite.
