Yup, the dogs hang their stockings up on Christmas eve and the older one just loves unwrapping his and everyone elses prezzies. The rats will get a little something too.
new blankets, big towels for when they come in from mucky walks
bought friends dog his own doggy design travel bag that went down well with besotted owner... and my sister bought him a scoobydoo lunchbox for water and biscuits while out walkies daft thing insisted on carrying it
The pharting pheasant fluffy toy was best though,,,,, as a gun trained springer he carried it everywhere... people were stopping to take photos of him he looked so cute
I buy my dog presents, squeaky balls usually, on a regular basis. She will probably get one for Christmas because I am stupid and I will probably wrap it up as well. It will then amuse her all day long and we will spend the whole of Christmas day having to throw it around for her :o(
Yes of course I'll be buying my lovely dog pressies for Christmas. He'll be joining in the fun with everybody else - part of the family aren't they. I don't know what to buy him yet, but he won't go short!
anne I'm sorry, but I think you're mean !
My Diva has everything but I still always go OTT at christmas. She has soooo many toys so this year she will get a new collar and lots of treats. The cat will get the same. We don't have children but looking at all the cat and dogs toys you would think we had lol.
Oh Robinia you must consider having a doggie shaped space in your home for next xmas?
When my last girl died I swore that it would take me years before I got another dog. But within 6 months another little girl came my way who needed rescued - and it as the best thing I could have done. In fact I now have 2 scruffy little rescue mutts.
It doesn't stop me from missing my lovely Keela who is at Rainbow Bridge - but it makes life interesting again!!!
And yes, just this evening I have ordered their xmas presents - a new teddy for them both, and a mat that says "home is where the dog is"!!
