I like Tesco stores.

I like Tesco stores, they have a wide range of products, prices are competitive, parking is convenient, staff are helpful and I do not mind that they are dominant in their industry, why would I criticize them for being successful?

I only have easy access to city-centre shops-a Tesco metro, Aldi, Lidl, and a medium sized Sainsbury's. Tesco's is the pits-I agree that their employees don't know the meaning of customer service. They are too busy shuvving bodies through a queue.They are mostly rude and surly. As for choice-there is none. I prefer to shop around,rather than be loyal to any one shop.

I shop at Asda as they were the only supermarket where I could guarantee getting a twin baby trolley when thing 1 and thing 2 were babies (had trouble with Sainsburys and in the end they suggested that I phoned to say I was on my way and they would get a trolley ready for me, but even that was problematic). The staff at our local Aldi are excellent even though they are always so busy (the deputy manager gave thing 1 a flower yesterday and she was thrilled and he has previously given the children chocolate bars to share).

I live close to lots of supermarkets, I tend to shop around, tesco are good for some things, asda are good for others same as sainsburys, co-op, aldi ect

tesco has improved since they got rid of the nagging car washers

Shopped in Tesco today. Low fat chicken breast fillets 516gm packs were £6.00. Low fat chicken breast fillets 258gm packs were £2.50. Bought two smaller packs and saved £1.00 over the bigger pack. Check their pricing thoroughly when you shop at Tesco - they're always doing this sort of thing.

I've probably moaned about Tesco on here but I do like shopping there too. Its the nearest big supermarket to me but recently I too have found the price of their stuff rise. A few months ago (before the big price drop) their 2 pack mangoes were £1.50. They then labelled the mangoes as being £1.65 but reduced to £1.50 as part of the big price drop. Bit sneaky but then the price of food changes every day due to inflation etc.

I like Tesco, it's my shop of choice. Second is Morrison's (very local) - our local small ASDA is cr@p.

Most of us have to use whatever is close. We have a large Tesco out of town and a very small Morrison's in the town centre. Any other supermarket is at least 10 miles away so by the time you have payed the petrol to do a min 20 mile round trip it is very expensive to shop anywhere else.
