Anyone had a dog with Indigestion?
9 Answers
My doy mollie had an episode 3 weeks ago after she had just eaten her tea, She dried constantly and tried to be sick but couldn't, Last night she did exactly the same but she seemed more distressed passing and crying walking around the garden, I was outside with her for 30 minutes trying to settle her and in the end I walked her very slowely around the close to see if she could shift it, she was sick twice... I rang my emergency vets and took her straight in to them but by the time we got there she was fine again, Her temperature was fine, no runny poohs, no tenderness or hardness in her stomach to suggest anything. I was just advised to feed her twice a day on fish and rice ( added some carrot )
anyone experienced this in there pets at all as I am really worried about her.
thanks

she had a small amount of fish and rice this morning and I gave her another couple of ladles of it again moment ago, she is a westie 14 1/2 years old I am a bit unsure on how much she should be having to eat as she thinks she is still starving hungry and keeps following me around, Do you know of any good hypo allergenic + sensitive wet dog food that i can give her as there is not alot of calaries in fish and rice and I don't want her loosing alot of weight. When she had her little episode yesterday her tummy was rock hard
Thanks

She has not not bolted her food down in a long time, She is fed on half a tin of winalot and Harringtons dry food which we have been soaking, We have been soaking it since the first episode 3 weeks ago before giving it to her, I have some antepsin which is pet equivalent to gaviscon, I will see how she goes but will pick up some nature diet today so I know she is getting the vitamins and nutrition she needs.
thanks all
