My friend is getting married in August and has asked my help to choose her wedding hymns. Any suggestions folks? She would like hymns that people can really sing and find enjoyable rather than boring ones with high notes!! Thanks a lot.

Try www.Hymnal.net. It has what looks like thousands to choose from and some even have sound clips!!!
Morning has broken is always used at weddings and not sure if i'm right but its actually called "the wedding March"
'All things bright and beautiful' is quite good, especially if there are loads of kids in the congregation. Mind you, I don't suppose kids are taught hymns at school anymore,'cos its not multiethnic enough.
Try the hymn 'And did those feet in ancient time' that is a great 1 2 sing in a big congregation
Being married to a Welshman, we had "Guide me o thou great Jehovah", great rousing Welsh tune with 2 part harmony if you want! Father in law insisted on singing it in Welsh - he was the only one doing so but we could all hear him - added to the entertainment....
How about Lord of the Dance? Its quite upbeat compared to some hymns and most people know it from school - well, I did anyway.
What Happymonkey means is 'Jerusalem'
