Avatars - day 547...

What's the latest news about avatars? I'm still stuck with a sabre-toothed squirrel in both my profile and postings (I have completely cleared the cache and cookies etc. several times).

Are they working ok for anyone, i.e. if you were to change the picture in gravatar.com then that new one would be displayed in AB within a few minutes?

Be honest Hopkirk....I don't think you know the exact location of AB Towers.

It appears to me, from Google maps, as a corner sited Victorian property, located in.......sorry, no more details. The last time I gave away its location my answer was deleted. AB is very secretive on all matters of which members are interested.!!

dear diary - day 550 and the critter is still there, at least I'm not stuck with a cat. put shoes on and went out. came back and took shoes off. and so to bed.

All avatars work perfectly fine for me and we've been unable to replicate the problem.

We will spend a little more time on it next week to see if there is anything we can do at all. The technical team are sure the issue is at Gravatar's end of the system.

I just checked your profile, doc, and I get a small tabby kitten looking up on your main picture and the pig with barbed wire underneath.

I'm supposed to be a sack carrying Yogi Bear Santa but cant change it.

dear diary - day 551 and it's deja vu all over again. that strange Mr. Ed has pushed a piece of paper into my hand and on the note he has scrawled "it's all right now" - it makes me wonder is he has been brainwashed by some religious people. at least i have found yet another use for a bratwurst. and so to bed.

Fun Suggestion: use post-it notes and stick them to your screen to instantly update your avatar.

(I'll try and work this out asap everyone! I understand it's a pain!)
