How did they know it wasn't provided under the Government's 'Mobility Scheme'?

Re exchanging Mobility payments for cars - if you choose more than a basic model you pay the difference, cannot see the relevance in this case though.

im not defending him, but if it were my car i could see some reasoning... there are some very petty spiteful people in the world who have a chip on their shoulders about other peoples wealth and would love nothing more than the opportunity to scratch or ding a car like that...
a fine is cheaper than the cost of parts or a respray...

//with that amount of money he's hardly likely to be worried about a parking ticket. Better had they hauled it out of the space and sent it to the knackers yard //
Why ? - simply because this guy drives as expensive car ?
Would you be happy to have your car hauled off to the knackers yard , had you parked illegally ( i'm assuming you dont own a car as expensive as this one )

perhaps a clamp to cause inconvenience or tow it to a place so he has to pay to get it out, but you cannot destory or damage it just so you can sneer at him.
perhaps there should be system where the fine is proportionate to the value of the vehicle?
with £60 as a minimum so old bangers dont get away with it.

It would have had a valid blue badge displayed in the windscreen.
its very unlikely that it was a disability car, apart from the amount of money a disabled person would have to stump up to afford a sports car, the scheme itself is unlikely to have such a car on its lists.
