THE VEIL AT THE NATIONAL

Don't want to spoil it for anyone who might be going to see this but can anyone explain the ending for me please? We went to see it last week but, afterwards, in the queue for the ladies, none of us could understand the last bit. Have tried to look it up on the internet but no luck so far.
