my toilet handle when used doesn't come back up again ready to be used again, I am sure this will be quite a simple problem that even I might be able to fix, but can anyone tell me what I need to do to fix it please. Many thanks

If it is a common handle on the side of the cistern, remove the cistern lid and spray some WD40 or similar on the connection joints inside (wire loop and pivots)
Make sure flush unit plunger is not being pulled to side and is free.
It's unlikely to be much else .. the flush unit is very simple with a 'loose' diaphragm, so it's not likely to be that.
If something is broke – Wickes sells a universal repair kit for around £6 that consists of the lever, arm, bits & bobs etc to effect a repair.

thank you both, went to have a look and couldn't see anything wrong, so mentioned it to Mr Jules who said, 'oh I tightened the handle up a bit recently maybe I did it a bit too tight', he adjusted it and hey presto, all fixed.
