Good evening Sqad...

Good evening my lovely...
Been back to the GP today - another new one! lol
He said my TSH of 3.9 is ok - if it was 4.0, he would give me thyroid treatment (but he can't now, because the path lab will send it back?!?)
Bearing in mind, my hair loss, constant fatigue as well as other symptoms...raised cholesterol, weight gain...?
I know you'll tell me it's all ok, but it must be all connected, must't it?

I don't fully understand your medical problems (and I have no wish to intrude by asking you questions about them) but they appear to be thyroid related. Since you mentioned (on the other thread) that you sometimes felt in need of support, I wondered if you were aware of these two organisations?

Halifaxmum, Hi there even though you are describing all the symptoms of an underactive thyroid, you can still adjust your diet to deal with the weight gain (that was advice I got from squad) and cholesterol levels. We do put on weight with this thyroid condition but we certainly can lose it. It took several years for the doctor to diagnose me as I was borderline for ages, Can't help with the tiredness as I get that late afternoon but either doze or battle on.
