Would i be compensated

Hi All,

A bit confused at the moment.

I have been a victim of hate crime over the last 2 months, police have arrested the person who is my next door neighbour.

My neighbour posted my address on the EDL and combat18 website preaching racial and religious hate, i then had to flee my house as i couldnt live there anymore and stayed in a hotel for 6-7 weeks. He has pleaded guilty to sending me hate mail and posting my addess on the websites.

The question i have is will i get that money back that as compestion?

i would consider it compensation culture if this was a situation in which iamking was actually to blame or it was a genuine accident yet he still wanted to blame someone else...
however in this instance i would want to take the swine for as much as i could and make him pay - so regardless of whether id actually suffered 'genuine' hardship or fear, id make sure they thought i had and he'd regret his behaviour...

The perpertrator was cgarged and convicted, i requested that he doesnt go to jail or be taken away from his family in any way so the judge ordered him to pay £2000.00 in costs. Ordered to do 100 hours of community service.

Living in London and providing for your family because you had no choice I wasnt that clear with the story when i posted it it was all just the basics i didnt want compensation but having a 5 year old girl and a wife at home with so much going on these days i had no choice but to run with my family. Its ok i have read some posts that have critisized me but if you was in my place you would not have done anything differently. The total cost of my hotel was well over £4000.00 but its not about the money it about justice thats why i am not complaining.
