I never criticised your English, I was simply referring to the expression "straight from the horse's mouth" and how it was a piece from the British paper. In France the 'rioters', for the majority I would think, speak FRENCH not English and so all that you have reported from The Guardian is a TRANSLATION.
BTW I was not insulting you, merely replying to your sarcasm.
