log in to Msn Messenger Problems

hi i can log into hotmail but not msn messenger, i just get a error message 80072ee6. i need help asap

Try re-installing messenger

hi funky punky, i was getting a similar error message other day, i shut down internet then wiped all internet history and cookies off pc and when i tried to get in again, it was fine. hope this helps

if you are using internet explorer, right click on the symbol on your desktop, click properties in the box that comes up, then click delete files (this may take a while) then click settings and view files and delete the msn cookies that you can find (you could just click delete cookies next to delete files but this will wipe all the cookies off your pc)

i've try that and still not working i think it may have something to do with the IE's offline setting. but how would i change this?

If you are seeing the 80072EE6 error message when trying to log-in you may find the following tip useful;
Go to Start
Click Run
Enter the following in the box regsvr32 MSXML3.dll
Re-Start MSN Messenger
