Co codamol on it's own is enough to make you feel like a zombie without adding alcohol to the equation !
I have the strong one prescribed by my GP for arthritic pain .I am extremely careful as to how and when I take it . You should never take this sort of thing with alcohol .
This is one of the reasons Coproxymol was removed from the drugs list because of silly fools who topped themselves on a mixture of painkillers and drink .

I took it for the first time for severe tummy pain I took 2 30/500 tablets within 5 mins my vision was blurry I was hot and dizzy I was almost about to pass out, I ran out of a meeting I was in and my throught started to close over and I couldn't breath it was very restricted and very frightening! It calmed down but happened 3/4 times to a point were I thought I was going to die, I Was taken to hospital on a drip and given something to help. No one knew what was happening it felt like a hypertension (I had one when I gave birth) I dread to think if I'd taken any other painkiller with this what would have happened!! These are very strong and people need to know what can happen!!! I'd suffer the pain before taking them again!,,
