Never heard this before. How do a pair of wooden ducks switch off your electrical items? Why red ribbon? I have heard the one about no mirror opposite the bed. I have one of those Sage twig things that you light, then just let it smoulder, and wave it around the room telling negative 'things' to 'leave' through the open window and it sends the negative 'things' out which is meant to make your home clearer and more positive. Sorry I am rambling a bit.
I just have a little bag of Mexican worry dolls - I fish one of them out now and again, and tell it my troubles. Then I go to sleep. http://www.google.co....QsAQ&biw=1024&bih=675
By the sound of it I am doomed, not feng shui at all. Everything mentioned so far is a no no. Mirror at the end of my bed, electric hairdrier, plus lamp, and my bed is the electric tilt/massage type bed. My kitchen sink is facing a door. I think it's best to live in ignorance of it all. Love the worry dolls, I could do with a bunch of them.
