I'd like to see a programme about how to re-act if you or your kids are attacked by a Dog.

When g'kids are over I lock up my dogs. Kids over excite the dogs with chasing balls etc & dogs end up fighting to retrieve. Safer to separate kids from dogs.
hi mcfluff, no its purely irrational fear and no history of dog aggression, she is quite a tiny timid 2 year old which doesn't help.

she will get over it eventually as we are sensible parents and love dogs and other animals.
Youngest g'son 5y was attacked by JRussel at school & now is fearful of dogs. I only introduce the chihuahua if he asks or at anytime only 1 GSD in my presence.
The Kennel Club have a scheme called 'Safe and Sound' which is used to educate children in school how to behave/react around dogs. http://www2.the-kenne...as_teachers_notes.pdf
