Sort codes and bank addresses

several years ago my original bank closed down, but I was left with the same sort code. I now have a direct debit mandate to fill in requesting my bank's full address, and in one of the several moves I've made over the past few years, it seems that the letter with the new bank address has disappeared. As such I desperately need to know what the address is for the Barclays bank with the sort code 20-62-53. I should also mention I'm currently incapacitated, so just taking a trip down to my 'local' (16 miles away) bank isn't really an option.

Why not call them? Don't use their 0870 or 0845 numbers which are just a form of extortion. Try this number - 0800 400 100

It's Norwich.

However Barclays give Leicester LE87 2BB as its address - as they do for all their branches. That's where they want post sent.

0845 7555555 is the call centre phone number
