Spooks Series 2 last episode

I have just watched the last episode of this series on DVD and am a little confused.

Did Tom imagine all the goings on, or were they real, and was the Joyce character really there?

Nope he didnt imagine any of it. Joyce (though assumed dead by everybody) was alive and kicking, until if i remember rightly he gets killed by Tom in the church and has his body dumped outside Thames House.

I think series 3 opens with a bit more about Joyce, and his wife, who Adam has to talk to, and find out what has been going on

Argh...what Ive just described does happen in Episode 1 of Season 3.

Thank you JD for your quick answer,and No worries about the spoiler! I will be wathcing series 3 very soon anyway! I will have a read on the website, that sounds a good idea.
