The village of Stanway in Glos used to have a ratting day. Locals would take their dogs along to a location in or near the village and let them loose to kill all the rats. Does anyone know whether or not this still takes place and if so when?

Well I live a few miles from Stanway and have never heard of it, so probably not.


It's a bit of a posh place these days so probably fewer rats....
