Fuel prices being high makes driving more pleasant at the moment. Less cars on the road. This makes me a happy boy.
I have just replaced my current car (15th December) and this time I went for a petrol engine (first time in 12 years). The mileage I do no longer warrants a diesel engine. £2000 more in cost and Derv being more expensive than petrol.
Difference in MPG is approx 8 MPG between the two.
