New York Deals
2 Answers
Hi Guys,
I'm planning to go to New York sometime next year and have been looking on the internet for deals. Has anyone been to New York and got a good deal? I really need some advice as I'm not exactly a well travelled person (only been abroad once, to Paris). Or is it better to go through a travel agents? Can I have a good holiday for under 900? I am totally clueless...
Thank you!

My local travel agent couldn't help (unless I wanted a non-direct flight), so I trawled the internet for a couple of days and eventually found a direct flight and most things I needed on www.expedia.co.uk . I'd get a couple of brochures from a travel agent, that should at least give you a guide price and some hotels to go on. Because we booked so late we've ended up paying 400 for a flight, plus hotel, but looking at a brochure I got from a travel agent we would have been paying about the same price through them, maybe a hundred or so cheaper, but that's the price you pay for leaving it so late to book!
