What sort of thing are you thinking of? Daytime, meal out, price? Let me know and I will have a think.

Evening meal, Romantic, ya know, all that jazz. budget of around £25 per person.
The Nags Head at Canon Pyon has new owners and we had a lovely meal there (I had a gorgeous steak, some of those chunky, hand-cut chips with dressed rocket and roasted vine tomatoes). It's all been done up and is very intimate now, candles on the tables, open fire, etc (not the best place to take five kids!). Bit on the pricey side (compared to the sort of places we normally go to) but the food was some of the nicest I have had.

Benny, my advice would be to go out somewhere either this coming Saturday or the Friday / Saturday after. Your money will go much further, you won't be in a very busy restaurant where the service is likely to be below their normal standard and it will therefore be more personal to the both of you. This is what me and mrs Zacs always used to do and we celebrate 24 years married this May! Good luck.

Thanks for all answers, nags head is a good idea, dad actually used to be the head chef there. always liked it then and i think since its changed hands its got better so may consider that one. ta.
It is completely different on the inside now - they have moved the bar and closed bits off to make it more cosy (100% improvement). It is not really our sort of place now as it is not so family-orientated (though it has acres of outside space for visiting in the summer), it is very much a couples/grown-ups place now (and the food was gorgeous - well worth the money as a treat).
Hey Benny. What about the Thai Gallery opposite Barclays or Zanes on St Owen St?
'7' in Ledbury is nice if you fancy a drive out, and Ross is full of excellent eateries, never really ate out that much in Hereford itself though.
The Worlds biggest roundabout Benny the M25, they have tours to see the traffic queuing up, the bloody idiots, you can stop on any bridge free of charge, OH don't forget to take some sarnies.
