Kwik Fit

We have a Ford Focus car, and today it has let us down again for the 2nd time?

We try to start it with the clutch down and it doesnt start!

Can kwik fit do a test to see whether its the battery or ortanator that is the problem? We hope that is just the battery!

What Focus is it and what year, I had a Ghia, think it was an 05 and we always had problems with the battery, virtually from day one, I requested a new battery for it and after that everything was fine, and yes kwik fit should be able to test the battery, my Ford garage could.

It is a 2ltre turbo diesel injection.
There isnt a warning light coming on to say that the altanator isnt working!

we've decided to just go for a new battery tomorrow! its driving us nuts!!!

A bit of advise Puss, use a Auto Electrical rather than K.F. otherwise you will end having new tyres / engine & other things they might find wrong with your car.

Never ask for advice from Kwik Fit.

TWR is right, they will always find faults.
They are not that skilled at repairing them though.
