Drought, What Drought??

I know it's serious for you Southern folk but spare a thought for us "Up North" It never seems to stop raining here in the N W of England. We don't have water shortages but then we don't have nice weather. I would like a drought up here this year(please) just so I can look forward to more than 5 continual, uninterrupted dry days!!!

Our water is gently filtered through dead sheep on the Moors.

its Hissing down here in Lambourne Valley . Still , the stream bed , that runs through the middle of our village (Back Street and Front Street )is dry
but it usually is till spring
