Norton renewal
I need to renew my subscription tomorrow for Norton Internet Security.
2 Questions -first -is there any cheaper way of doing it than online at around 48 quid?
second -if I renew online how do I renew onto my two laptops? -do they send you a new subscription code through email? -thanks!

That is what I did 2 years ago and I have never had a hint of a problem. Just be certain you have fully removed Norton before you put MSE on. Why pay for something you can get free.?
If you use Yahoo webmail it's protected by Norton and wont cost a penny. For the rest of your browsing, there are good free Antivirus programmes. Unless you sail in dangerous waters there really is no need to pay and it is easy to install Microsoft Essentials which will protect you. Avira, AVG, Avast will all do the job.

thanks eddie - I'm, a bit strapped for cash so if i can get anything free thats a bonus - I'm not into gaming on line or 'dodgy' sites but last year I let the subscription slip and got a nasty virus - got rid of it easy enough and for free but don't want to go 'without protection' . Cheers for the link x
I renewed Norton Internet Security in December. I bought a 3-PC disc from PC World for £27. I think that was a special offer - no idea if it is still that price.
I have been using Norton for years and have never renewed on-line as I have always found cheaper discs locally.
All that said there are many free packages available as above posters have indicated.
