Didn't feel like making anything for tea tonight but have just polished off 2 pineapple delights,1 Diana Delights and a Viennese whirl. Knew I shouldn't have baked but I found it very therapeutic.

As far as I can see Boo, Diana Delight is either a plant or a shoe by Irregular Choice. Spotit must've been bloomin starving!!!

The pineapple ones have a biscuit base, middle layer of butter cream, then topped with fresh cream mixed with crushed pineapple. The DDs are a mixture of marg, coconut,marie biscuits,walnuts and marshmallows mixed with condensed milk. Both are delicious. I love baking but now I am on my own have to eat any which are nnot given away. You will gather I have a very sweet tooth!

I remember making danish pastry for the first time. Thought I would double up (x 2!) the receipt as it looked a bit mean on the ingredients. I made enough of the beggars to fill all my cake tins. We seemed to be eating them for ever but they did keep well. Obviously I live nowhere near Lancs ;)
