Anyone used this (when desperate I expect). Don't know if it's legit or worth it. Suggests I pay £13 if happy with the answer but don't know if that's the start of successive payments and it's just drawing in the vulnerable?

I used it once many years ago, and the answer was very vague and no different from information I could have found off Google. IMO no one can give an accurate diagnosis without checking your dog over.
Agree. They need to see the animal. Better to phone your own vet, there should be somebody covering even now.

I already have an appointment for tomorrow - I'm a bit desperate because my cat is so ill and the vet dealing with him, although undoubtedly brilliant and a partner in the surgery, told me she's not really a cat expert, she's a surgeon. I feel my cat is in a life or death situation.
It is difficult enough for a Vet to accurately diagnose anything when they can listen to the lungs/hearts and handle the animal. Don't waste your money.

If you feel it is a matter of life or death.... is there no one to handle animal emergencies in your area, withoin driving distance? Even the SPCA or a cattery are willing to help in an emergency.

thanks wildwood, sorry if I was misleading. Don't mean L or D right now but the decision may be to put him to sleep in the next few days based on the vet's advice (or tomorrow in fact) and I've only seen the one - who said she's not a cat expert.
But if you phone the vet now you might get a different vet. no?
