Buying Animal Medication Online?
34 Answers
Does anybody do this and if so, is there a reliable website?
I am asking as I want to buy advocate for cats (4kg-10kg) for my moggie. The vets is quite expensive and I have seen online offers. I tend to view buying drugs online as something not done at all for humans or animals because it carries to many risks. I can obviously get a prescription.
(I do know that I want to go with advocate and not an alternative).
I'd appreciate any opinions, thank you! :c)

Our old vet changed to Advocate - God knows why - and we had real problems with Advocate, the manufacturers in the end paid for a nurse to come and show me how to use it. It's very runny indeed, you need to dab it on in 2 or 3 places across the back of the neck underneath the fur, and it dribbles like fury. It dribbled down No 1 Son's neck to where he could lick it, and he started foaming at the mouth.
Stronghold is a neat little vial, a couple of dabs and it just sits on the skin at the back of the neck. I recommend it.
