Does anybody do this and if so, is there a reliable website?

I am asking as I want to buy advocate for cats (4kg-10kg) for my moggie. The vets is quite expensive and I have seen online offers. I tend to view buying drugs online as something not done at all for humans or animals because it carries to many risks. I can obviously get a prescription.

(I do know that I want to go with advocate and not an alternative).

I'd appreciate any opinions, thank you! :c)

According to what I'm reading advocate seems to protect against more worm type things... I need to go back and find some pages. ALthough not against ticks but I asked the vet yesterday and he said it did do ticks?!

Just an example but I've searched a few forums, including an inadvertant look at a labradoodle forum, and lots of people recommending advocate. :-S

I am using Advocate at the moment and it's fine, no problems. I've also used Stronghold in the past and no problems with that either. Stronghold might be a bit cheaper.

So basically a lot of strong support for advocate which is why I'm leaning that way at the moment.

We buy all our pet wormers, for horses, dogs and cats from www.hyperdrug.com. Also supply for poultry etc. Huge selection of medications prescription or herbal. Used them for years very reliable

I have spoken to the vet today who will write be a prescription (for a fee obviously) so I am going to look at the links again tonight and make a decision.
