Status Bar - Internet Explorer

I seem o have 'lost' the bar on the Status Bar which indicates the loading of the web page - coloured green, moves left to rght as the page loads. Help please to get it back?

Press alt, select the view menu > toolbars > status bar.

(although they got rid of it in IE9... but to be honest if you have broadband it's pretty pointless anyhow)

Thanks Chuck - praps that's why it's gone - I've moved to IE9!
