Last one has me beaten yet again. 26d. Bowled - certainly not a fast ball! - for a duck. B - OB. B + LOB I suppose. But why a duck? Is this a duck I don't know?

Blob is term similar to duck, which is used to identify a batsman who gets out without scoring a single run on the field.
O in cryptic terms means duck.

Aha! We of course see duck = 0 in almost very crossword, but I didn't know the usage of blob to indicate that. So thanks.
