We dont brew a good lager in the UK and tend to 'brew under licence' continental recipes which tend to be the cheaper end of the market.
I notice supermarkets have been quick to latch onto premium (and expensive) bottled lagers such as Warsteiner, Bitberger,, Staropramen etc.
Personally I prefer the cheaper and stronger Polish lager, Tyskie, which is readily available in most outlets due to demand from Polish immigrants.
