Reggae Song

My mum is desperate to get hold of a copy of a reggae song she listened to on Radio 1 in the late 70's. It was sung by two girls and she doesn't remember them having another hit. Apparently, it got to number 1. Apologies for the lack of info!

It could be Uptown Top Ranking by Althia and Donna. Think I spelt the first name right.

Thank you, Eastender. I've just found a 30 second sample of that song on Amazon and played it over the phone to Mum. It is the right one and she sends big hugs. Thanks again!

It was Uptown Top Ranking by Althea and Donna. It is on a really good compilation reggae album called Capital Gold Reggae which is a double album.
