So much misinformation about Facebook flies around, no one can write on your wall unless you give them access.

You can also block anyone sending you messages that aren't on your friends list.

Actually, there are a few people I am 'friends' with who I would cross the street to avoid but sometimes they're facebook posts are better than watching Jeremy Kyle so I keep them there for entertainment purposes.

Used properly fbook is great - I have (real and virtual) friends all over the place & it's great for keeping in touch - met one or two nice people through it too ;=)
