Help! I might have to kill my husband ;-)
28 Answers
I have recently acquired (via c section a baby) she's gorgeous and 6 weeks old! My husband and I also have a two year old! However my husband seems to be unable to do any feeds during the night at all even just the odd one at the weekend. This morning I launched an Avent bottle at him (one of the limited edition pink ones) he keeps promising to do the odd feed "when he can" but these "windows of opportunity" just never seem to arise. And if I hear him say one more time that he's tired (after a 9 hour sleep) I may have to build a new patio and put him under it!
My question is; I know he works, and I certainly wouldn't expect him to do many if any night feeds during the week, but what about the weekends? How have any of you out there coped with similar situations?

He played 'i've been at work' card but then i found out a while later when little one was older that he had it dead easy at work anyway and could've helped after all. It definitely seems to be a man thing that you either have one that helps no end or not at all.
This lack of help continued for me even after i returned to work when little 'un was just 9 months old. :O(

What you Ladeeez need is someone like me: when not out hunting rabbitskins to wrap poor baby bunting in I was more than happy to help with everything, including gloopy nappies.
Especially liked bathing the bairns, I was the first to bathe the firstborne and to change him. Couldn't really do much in the feed department because, at the time, I didn't have the boobies. When they were on solids though I used to do blitzed goo's and bottled glop's.
I just think they are magic and you get to buy them Lego!
