12 minutes of fun

I've just had one of those scam calls warning of a virus / problem on my computer. I was sat in the garden so I thanked him for calling and asked if he could cure all my pc problems. He said he could and so I then described the little men running all over the screen ..... red and green ones with pointy hats etc. He asked if I could turn the computer off and I said - no, I couldn't possibly do that. When he asked why not - I confessed that I was watching two ladybirds have a race.

I had great fun for at least 12 minutes but then he hung up when I offered to let him talk to Mariella Frostrup on the radio .... hahaha

What intrigues me tho is who pays the wages and the phone bills? I'm thinking of those who do fall for this scam :(
