How's this for an idea? We have quailifying as now for the first race. For all the other races they start in reverse order of their current standings. What do you think?

Many thanks judge, a thorough analysis, as usual. I agree mostly I just think that at least the top drivers/cars would actually have to fight their way to the front each time rather than already being there,

How to make F1 more exciting?

Give the drivers wrestling/boxing/darts style nicknames......Lewis 'Charisma' Hamilton, Jensen 'Interesting' Button etc

Make the drivers jump out of their cars and do their own tyre changes and re-fuelling

Give drivers Super Mario style ammo (banana skins, shells, mushrooms etc) to use on their way around the track
