For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.we are all making valid points here. i to have heard dissent for drogba at the bridge but the truth is that not one of the many managers drogba has played under at chelsea has ever told him to change his ways and neither has the one man who could stop it in an instant; abramovich. we must take it that those in charge of the club approve of his antics as they create goal scoring oppurtunities.
Maybe the Rules should be reviewed.
A team can seriously play the tactic of NOT playing football? And the only consequence is added time at the end of the half?
In Netball, "time wasting" is not just foul play ... it's classed as a "professional foul". You're sent off immediately.
If you don't want to get on with the game ... get off the pitch.
Isn't it the same in rugby? If you throw the ball off the pitch, the game is held up, and so you're penalised. You're there to PLAY the game, not to DELAY the game.
Football is just pathetic.
I'm probably going to Brighton's match tomorrow. Brighton are not pathetic, obviously. We are heroic. That's different.
