Converting mg into iu/kg

I want to make a comparison between the Vitamin E in two different dog foods. However one says 690mg per kilo and the other says 70.0iu/kg.
How can I 'convert' one of the amounts into the same measurement as the other so that they can be compared?

According to various google results 1mg equates to 1.5iu - so 690mg = 1035iu and 70iu = 47mg

One thousand microgrammes (1000µg) is the same as one milligramme so 690mg is equal to 690,000µg and 70µg is equal to 0.07mg. So to compare, the one wi 690mg has almost 10,000 times as much Vitamin E than the other, which seems to be a huge difference.

ignore me, I assumed (wrongly) that the iu was an attempt to write the symbol for "µ"... I'll get ma jaikit.

It's the symbol for "micro" meaning a millionth. I thought you'd mis-read the symbol or had tried to type an approximation for it. DOH!!!!!!!
