How should I go about backing up my computer? Is there a program to do this? How can I put the important data on to CD?

If you wish to make an entire backup of your hard disk, go for Norton Ghost or Drive-image Pro. These programs will make so called image files, which you can also copy to a CD (supported by both programs). If needed, you can restore an image (or just a few files) back to your system. More general, you would need a CD-Writer and software like Nero or Easy CD Creator to copy data to a CD.

just use nero in backitup its the only 1 use and no problems yet
