Cat punishment
65 Answers
My cat, for the first time that I'm aware of, got up onto the worktop in my kitchen. I found her eating a ready to go into the oven stuffed pepper. As soon as she saw me she dashed for the door so knows fine well that what she was doing was wrong. How can I punish her. No food tonight? (me considering she's already had tea though only got as far as the top part) or what would you do so she won't do this again?

He mews at next door for tit bits; another neighbour feeds him tins of tuna,Milo sits and waits on the fence for this chap to come home from his work. (and I DO feed milo- HONEST).One day,my next door neighbour had left her back door open and had a chicken cooling from the oven. Milo went in and got the chicken and started to eat it. At night Milo likes to sleep on the top of my cooker,I put a blanket there for him, but he knows that work tops are a definate no-no. Milo was found near a gypsy site, shut in a box in a field. He was just a few weeks old and has been with me since, he is now 9 years old, and a really lovely cat.
Coccinelle , you have to understand it was YOUR fault. You tempted her ....she fell. No good telling her off she wont give a damn. She will just give you the invisible treatment. Re the dried food and then catching mice ,she brings it back to show you what a bad provider you are , I know I had a cat like that too. He once brought back a live one for ou half grown Korat queen ,he stood out side and belloed for her to come look see. She went out and as it lay still on the mat she went to sniff it and it moved she ran behind my husband , you could almost see her holding her skirts up and screaming , it was one of the funniest things Ive ever seen ,she was in decline for days.
