lots of rain during the night but have not looked yet this morning.

we seem to have had an awful lot of rain here in south west eversince we were declared a drought area a few weeks ago.

I nearly ended up in your neck of the woods, Lady J, - I was tracking down a Henry hoover for my mater's birthday as with the house here, she really needs something more powerful. Sainsbury's had them on sale but had run out in Truro, the only store with them being Helston....however I found one at Curry's for £3 more and factor in the fuel for the aller-retour, never mind the time, I missed out...

Its cloudy and dull here in Norfolk, but not raining yet, we're having an hour off. I blame the hosepipe ban for this awful weather. My butts overfloweth!

glad you got what you wanted DT. the price of petrol is . . . . .unleaded in breage last week 150.9 per litre. btw sainsburys is cheapest at the moment. at least down here.

wish they had declared this drought earlier in the year. then, perhaps the reservoirs would now be full and we could have some better weather for the summer.
