my son has a duplex kidney apparantly its quite common, does anyone have any probs with theirs?

I have a left duplex kidney, am female and nearly 40. I had no problems until 3 years ago when I had recurrent UTI's. I now take 200g of trimethoprim daily and I'm absolutely fine. Hope your son is alright
