I have now spent some 3 weeks seaching the net including the Sony site without any succes.
I have a Sony video Hi8 Handycam which my computer with XP cannot recognise and no where, including the Sony site, does it seem is there any help in solving this problem.
The camera has several outputs which I have checked and there is a video/sound signal coming from all of them and I'm currently using the USB output, I've also tried the 3 Phonos & the 'S' video outputs without any success, I also have a webcam which is also using a USB input and works fine so it's not a camera problem and I am now quite desperate for any help that you might be able to give.
Do Sony use some weird filing system? I don't know but I can't find any help from the net so if you have any ideas I would be very grateful if you would take a moment to post them at 87 my patience is wearing a bit thin.
Thanks
