Just saw the application mentioned on the news and downloaded it to my iPhone.
Ouch !
Wish I had not now.
It shows in graphic detail where your money in tax and NI goes.
You have to enter your salary first ...weekly / monthly / annual

I'm giving over £200 a year in overseas aid ...ouch ...

But you have to think , what is the driver behind making this info so available , other than prompting the tax payer to think ...yes all these welfare cuts are ok , cause it costs me X per year in tax .

Less than £4 a week!!

Yes I suppose £4 a week is not to bad.
I try and give £30 a month to different charity via JustGiving and even on here where someone wanted sponsorship I have given.
Normally sponsor family ...friends ...and then if no one is doing anything in a particular month ...people I don't even know
