me and my husband and little one stayed a week with his sister a couple of weeks ago - I hope to god we weren't this bad! i would never have dreamt of telling her I couldn't sleep, as soon as the baby woke in the morning we whipped him off downstairs so as not to disturb anyone, and all nappies & wipes were bagged & binned appropriately and immediately. Admittedly, the dining table did kind of get taken over with his toys, bottles etc, but I'm sure my SIL was okay about that - or else I'd hope she'd have told me. I'd have a word with your brother - don't make a big deal - just say that you never realised little ones went though no many nappies/wipes until you cleaned them up this morning, or something. And next time she sees fit to even touch your photo frames - take them back off the little one and say, " no darling, these are Aunty..... toys - you have your own things to play with" (and explain it that surely a photo frame not the best thing to give a baby anyway!)...... how old is the little one out of interest? don't get the keeping quiet when she's sleeping thing - we had a barbecue/party at my SIL's house, and wee man went to bed in the middle of it and slept more soundly than he had any other night. She sounds like a nightmare- speak with your bro! xx
