What's for lunch?
31 Answers
I seem to be managing with breakfast and evening meal choices, but I do struggle with lunch ideas.
If I'm at home at lunchtime I usually will have soup or a couple of boiled eggs or perhaps a jacket potato, but if I'm out, I can't think of something that I could take out with me apart from a sandwich and as I'm not buying bread at the moment then a sandwich is out of the question.
Any ideas please?

If so, I keep a tin of Ryvita in a drawer and take in egg mayo (light of course), paté, or soup to go with it. Heinz do a great little sachet of soup which you just add water too. YOu have to do it quite slowly and stir a lot but it tastes great. I also take in rice, sweetcorn and chopped up chicken in the winter. Make sure you chill down the rice as soon as it is cooked and put straight in the fridge. Of the above, only the soup is any use to you if you don't have a fridge....Good luck
the following could be made into wraps, with or without salad; Chicken, ham & egg mayo, egg mayo & sweetcorn, chicken mayo & sweetcorn. If any help, I've also seen flask type containers (they are shorter and wider than standard flasks) than hold chunky soups, so they could also be used for noodles & pasta.
