Massaging and concocting "evidence" to justify our involvement in the Iraq War, and his overly cozy relationship with Dubya in the US permanently disqualifies him, at least in my book - although he is still probably a lot more competent and a damn sight brighter than either Cameron or Osborne....

He is the most self serving PM since Lloyd George. He did everything to keep us in Europe, not for his love of Europe but rather for the simple fact he wanted to be its first president.
Fortunately neither the country nor the Labour Party supported his efforts.
