Can't remember authors name...

During a conversation about favourite books and authors at work, one girl told me to look at this one guy but I cannot remember his name at all!

She said I would like him because i'm a fan of Stephen King and general scary, thriller books.

Any thoughts as who he could be? I think his surname began with 'H'... then again I could just be making that up =s

I'd work my way through them chronologically, Erin. If you get as far as, say, Fluke and you're not enjoying them, then I'd suggest there's little point in continuing any further...

Okay doke.. I think i'll start with The Fog then and carry on from there. The Rats isn't really appealing to me at all.
